Well Being Holistic (WBH) is focused on protecting the privacy of client information. This Privacy Policy outlines how personal data is collected, used, stored, and safeguarded in accordance with the guidelines provided through the
Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
1. Information CollectionWBH collects personal information directly from clients through forms, emails, phone calls, and other communication channels. This may include:
• Names, contact details, and payment information.
• Relevant personal details shared during coaching or advocacy sessions.
Data is collected solely to provide services, improve client experiences, and meet lawful obligations.
Emergency Contact Requirement
Due to the sensitive nature of WBH services, clients joining premium community are required to provide up-to-date emergency contact details as part of the registration process (
refer to Clause 3:Health and Wellness Responsibility Coaching Agreement). It is the client’s responsibility to ensure this information remains accurate throughout the coaching agreement duration.
2. Use of InformationPersonal information is used for:
• Delivering coaching and advocacy services.
• Managing client relationships and processing payments.
• Administrative tasks essential to the lawful operation of WBH.
WBH does not and will not share, sell, or rent any personal client information for marketing purposes. Information may be shared with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., for payment processing, scheduling, or email communication) strictly to fulfill operational functions.
Exception for Health Advocacy
In line with
Clause 3: Health and Wellness Responsibility Coaching Agreement:
• If a client fails to act on a recommendation to seek medical attention, WBH reserves the right to contact the client’s emergency contact to facilitate appropriate care.
• In life-threatening situations, and where the client is not under the care of a palliative physician, WBH may disclose private information to emergency services to ensure access to necessary care.
3. Data SecurityWBH takes reasonable steps to protect client information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Measures include:
• Secure servers with encryption for digital data.
• Restricted-access storage for physical documents.
• Limiting access to authorized personnel only.
While WBH employs rigorous security measures, no system can guarantee absolute protection. WBH accepts no liability for data breaches that occur despite these precautions.
4. Client Rights
Clients have the right to:
• Access and review personal information held by WBH.
• Request corrections to inaccuracies.
• Request data deletion, subject to legal and operational requirements.
For inquiries or to exercise these rights, clients can contact WBH directly.
5. Data Retention
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill service obligations or comply with lawful requirements. Once no longer needed, data is securely disposed of to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
6. International Clients and GDPR Compliance
For clients outside Australia, particularly those in the European Union, WBH adheres to GDPR standards. GDPR provides additional rights, including:
• Requesting data portability.
• Restricting or objecting to data processing.
Clients from these jurisdictions can exercise their rights by contacting WBH.
7. Changes to the Privacy Policy
WBH reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the WBH website and within the Online Community Forum. Clients are encouraged policy periodically for changes
Continued use of WBH services after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
8. Digital Acknowledgment
By completing online registration, the Client agrees that this action of sighting or clicking is equivalent to a physical signature and carries the same responsibilities and liabilities as a handwritten autograph.
